Richard F. Bansfield

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Redmond and Ruby (McMahon) Bansfield.

He worked for Associated Sleep Industries in Chelsea and then for Cooper Lewis Auto Body Supply. He enjoyed reading and woodworking.

He leaves two sons Richard Dion of WI and Norman Dion of ME, four brothers Donald P. Bansfield of Lynn, James Bansfield and his wife Carol of Middleton, Ronald Bansfield and his wife Daisey of FL, and Daniel Bansfield of Lynn, three sisters Carole Harding of Lynn, Ruth Scopa of Bridgewater, and Elizabeth Arena and her husband Richard of Lynn, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Thomas and Bruce Bansfield.

His Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8 AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church Lynn at 9 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Residents Fund at Lifecare of the North Shore, 111 Birch Street, Lynn MA 01902.
