Richard Allen Evans

Richard Allen Evans, age 68 of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Born in Lynn and raised in Peabody, Richard was the son of the late William J. and Jean E. (Ferguson) Evans. He was a mechanic and machine operator and enjoyed working overnights and had a love for watching the Boston Bruins.

Richard is survived by his sister Patty of Peabody and his brothers Bill of Indiana, John of Maine, Scott of New Hampshire and Jim of Tewksbury. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Kathy and Wendy Evans.

He will be dearly missed by family and friends. At the request of his family, funeral services are private.
