Robert A. McCullough, Jr.

Robert A. McCullough, Jr., age 63, of Lynn died Wednesday Nov. 13th at Salem Hospital after a period of declining health. Born in Everett, he was the son of Barbara (Witham) McCullough of Lynn and the late Robert A. McCullough Sr.  Bob attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1979. After graduating high school, he joined the U. S. Air Force. His time in the Air Force brought him to Alabama and Florida. After his time in the Air Force, he was employed by many local businesses in the Lynn area including Hart’s Liquor Store and Snell’s Market in McDonough Square, Paul’s Lobster and North Shore Telephone company.  For the past 10 years, he was employed as a receiver at Walmart. He enjoyed spending time outdoors whether on his porch in Lynn or in the lakes of New Hampshire. He loved his garden, especially his tomatoes and peppers. He loved the Boston Red Sox and was a huge New England Patriots fan. He also loved all animals, especially his beloved companion, Rexy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was especially proud of his daughter Hailey.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Hailey McCullough of Bowling Green, Kentucky, a stepdaughter, Chelsea and her husband Michael of Peabody, his sisters Donna LeBlanc of Winthrop, Kimberley and her husband John Saucier of Waterford, CT, a half-sister Stephanie McCullough of Newburgh, NY, five nieces, Catherine, Abigail, and Elizabeth Saucier all of Waterford, CT, Victoria Arinella of Winthrop, Jessica and her husband Stephen Kent of Peabody, and one nephew Christopher LeBlanc of Woburn. He also leaves many great nieces and nephews who enjoyed his sense of humor.  

Service Details: Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. The burial will be held privately.  Please make memorial donations in Bob’s name to the Northeast Animal Shelter 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA  01970.
