Robert Bobby P. Simard Jr.

Mr. Robert P. Simard, Jr., age 48, of Newmarket, NH and formerly of Lynn, died on Tuesday, February 18 of natural causes at Exeter Hospital, Exeter, NH. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Silva) Simard, with whom he shared 26 years of marriage, and the father of Alison Irene Simard, age 15, and Crystal Grace Simard , age 10.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Irene (Peach) Simard and of Robert P. Simard of Lynn, and step-son of Frances Simard of Tampa, FL.

He graduated from St. Jean’s Grammar School and St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1983. He also attended Suffolk University, Boston. He moved to New Hampshire in 1994.

Robert was a screen printer and formerly owned Showcase Silk Screen in Amesbury. He currently worked at Co-Ed Sportswear in Newfields, NH.

He enjoyed fishing, going for walks, and especially enjoyed spending time with his girls.

He also leaves his aunts and uncles Arlene Connor of Nahant, Claire Larson, Paul Simard, Thomas Simard and Raymond Simard all of Florida; his in-laws Susan and Kent Cooper of Lynn, and Donald and Doreen Silva of Amesbury; and many other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 6 PM in the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Visiting hours prior to the service on Saturday from 3-6 PM. The family prefers donations in his memory be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
