Roderick "Ron" C. Chevalier

LYNN - Roderick "Ron" Cycril Chevalier, age 92 of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Salem Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita (Kennedy) Reback-Chevalier, with whom she shared 29 years of marriage.

Ron was born and educated in Boston, the son of the late Odel C. and Agnes (Lockhart) Chevalier. He was the loving father of Diane Launier of Hooksett, NH and her late husband, Robert Launier, Thomas Chevalier and his wife, Kim of Westford, MA, Pamela Chevalier of Mesa, North Carolina and the late Roderick Charles Chevalier; the devoted step-father of Bruce Reback and his late wife, Sharon, with whom he lived in Lynn, Scott Reback of Brockton and his late wife, Anette and Stuart Reback of Chicago; the dear brother of John Chevalier of Rockland, Charles "Chuck" Chevalier of Quincy and Marie Burns of Ohio, the late Joseph Chevalier and the late Irene Chevalier, the cherished grandfather of 13, great-grandfather of many, and great-great grandfather of two; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Roderick was an active longtime Pilgrim level member of the Loyal Order of Moose with Lodges in Revere and Malden for many years. Ron loved to go out dancing and was known as a sharp dresser, very meticulous about his clothes. Most of all, Ron loved to spend time with his entire family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including frequent trips to New Hampshire.

Funeral services and interment in Pine Grove Cemetery are private and under the care of Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, Lynn.
