Mr. Rogerio Silva Pereira, age 63, of Seabrook, NH, died Wednesday night in Lahey Clinic Burlington after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Maria F. (Rosa) Pereira, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. Born in the Azores, Portugal, he was the son of Adelaide (Silva) Rosa and the late Manuel P. Rosa. He was a resident of Seabrook for over 27 years. Rogerio previously worked for Colby Farm in Newburyport for many years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Sonia Blunt and her husband Jason of Newburyport. He was the brother to Maria L. Silva of Seabrook, NH, Geraldine P. Jaffe of Cooper City, FL, Carlos S. Pereira of Peabody and the late Manuel S. Pereira and Ermenegildo S. Pereira. He was the Grandfather to Aidan Blunt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rogerio’s Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Visiting Hours Sunday 1-4PM. Gifts in his memory may be sent to Anna Jacques Community Health Foundation, 25 Highland Ave Newburyport, MA 01950 (make checks payable to: Cancer Center).
