Born in Lewiston, Maine, Ron grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, class of 1957. He was an avid golfer and an excellent West Coast swing dancer. Ron belonged to a local ski club for many years. He also was a YoYo champion back in the day. He remained in touch with high school friends and with most people he met in the many activities he participated in through the years. He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh.
Ron relocated to Bradenton and Port St. Lucy, Florida, and lived there for about 20 years enjoying golf and the warm weather. He recently returned to Lynn, to be with family and friends. He adored his dog Lucy and was lost without her having to leave her in Florida.
Ron leaves behind his sister Sylvia Mishel, Nieces Janice Keown-Lin and her husband Roman and their son of Litchfield, NH. Great niece Bobbie-Jo Defillipo and her husband Timothy and their two sons, his nephew Daniel Keown and his wife Michelle and family, and great niece Carol Abrosino and her husband Michael and their son.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Harold and Annette (Berube) Mishel and his niece Linda Ann (Keown) Mullins.
He will truly be missed by all who knew him… Until we meet again...
