Rose A. Smith, age 90 years, of Beverly, formerly of Lynn died Monday August 12th at the Care One at Essex Park Nursing Home in Beverly after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond Smith.
Born in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion (Wooldridge) DeSilva. She was a self-employed house cleaner and worked at Sears in Shetland Park in Salem. Rose loved listening to Ray Charles, Baking, camping in Wells, ME, and the White Mountains.
She is survived by one daughter Kelley and her husband Donald Brewster of Saugus, grandchildren Brittany, Erik and Nicholas Dion, Daniel Riccardi of Merrimack, NH, two great grandchildren Aidyn and Aubrey of Merrimack, NH. She was also mother of the late Donald “Nick” Riccardi and Donna Riccardi.
At Rose’s request Private Family Funeral Service were held at the Parker Funeral Home. Please consider Memorial donations in her name to a charity of your choice.
