Rosemary E. Anketell

Born in Lynn, Rosie was a graduate of English High School, and later attended Essex Agricultural & Technical School where she learned to become a hairstylist. She was the owner/operator of Clean Cut Hair Salon in Lynn, MA since 1985.

In her free time, Rosie loved to quilt, embroider, knit, read, and spend time with her family and friends. She loved spur of the moment road trips.

Rosie is survived by her dear sisters, Patricia Cormack, Mary Mackenzie, Elizabeth Germano and her husband Edward, as well as sister-in-law Olivia Tucker. She was the "favorite" Auntie Rosie to her cherished 52 nieces and nephews, great and grand plus 17 "in-law" spouses. She was predeceased by her sister June and her brother Thomas, Brother-in-laws James Trainor and Don MacKenzie.

Friends and family are invited to attend Rosie’s Funeral Mass on Friday, July 23rd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to My Brother's Table, 98 Willow St. Lynn, MA.
