Ruth F. Moody

Mrs. Ruth F. Moody, age 75 years, of Lynn, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday June 10, 2009. She was the wife of Gale B. Moody, with whom she shared 57 years of Marriage. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Etta (Boynton) Ames. She attended Lynn schools, and graduated from L. E. H. S. Class of 1951. She was a member of the former Boston St. Methodist Church and the Lakeside Methodist Church. Mrs. Moody loved being with her grandchildren, was an avid Bingo player, and enjoyed frequent trips to Foxwoods. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons Glenn Moody of Lowell, Dean Moody of Lynn, two daughters Elaine and her husband Charles Fedas of Lynn, Dianne and her husband Michael Pohlmeyer of Lynn, one brother Donald and his wife Leona Ames of Georgetown, and five grandchildren Kristine Moody, April Moody, Matthew Fedas , John and Lauren Pohlmeyer. She was also sister of the late Doris Ames of Lynn, and grandmother of the late Glenn Moody, Jr. Service Details: Funeral services will be held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Saturday at 11:30 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
