Sally worked as a technician for General Electric in Lynn for 23 years and Ametek for another 10 years before retiring in 2003. She loved dancing, bird watching, all animals, watching movies and documentaries, and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Papagelis and his wife, Donna of Del Ray, FL, James Papagelis and his companion, April of Lynn, Rick Papagelis and his wife, Jill of Lincoln, NH, her former husband, James Papagelis of Lynn, 9 grandchildren, Tim, Abby, Megan, Danny, Bianca, Meagan, Tyler, Joey and Alexis. She also leaves 3 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Joe Walsh.
A visitation will be held in the Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home in Lynn on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 4-6 PM with a funeral service at 6 PM. Cremation will follow.
