Sandra Jean Elder

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Lily (Arnold) Elder.

Sandra was the beloved sister of Arthur Elder of Saugus, Phyllis Elder of Haverhill, George E. Elder and his wife, Judith of Saugus and the late Gerald Elder, the dear aunt of Christina Hawley and her husband, Ron of Haverhill, Kimberly and Scott Elder of Saugus, and the cherished great-aunt and “grandmother” of Devin Hawley.

Sandra graduated from Lynn Classical High School. She worked as an assembler at Wakefield Engineering for many years until her retirement. Sandra enjoyed collecting dolls and Hummel figurines and had an extensive collection of both. She was known for her sense of humor and was considered quite a jokester.

Sandra’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 31st, at 11:00 a.m. at the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral on Tuesday, October 31st, in the funeral home.
