Sara E. Boyd

Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Connolly) Duran. She attended Woburn Schools and resided there before moving to Lynn at the age of 18.

Betty enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery. Above all, she enjoyed the time spent with family. She was the best mother and a wonderful grandmother. A caring and loving woman, she did anything for anyone and always put others’ needs before her own. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves her children, James G. Boyd of Exeter, NH, Joseph F. Boyd and his wife Cindy Varney of Effingham, NH, Robert H. Boyd and his wife Diane of Nottingham, NH, Patricia E. Skoglund and her husband Mike of Inverness, FL and Marilyn J. Gately and her husband David of Woburn. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday from 9-11:00AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
