Born in Lynn, Shawn was the son of Joseph Walsh of Lynn and the late Nancy (Punchard) and stepson to Sally Papagelis of Lynn. He attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical High School Class of 1982.
Shawn previously worked as a welder. He was an associate member of the Franco American Post 161. He was an avid shuffleboard player and also enjoyed darts and horseshoes. His family really loved him and he will always be a shamrock in their heart.
Shawn also leaves a brother, Mark Walsh and his wife Michelle of Lynn and two nieces, Keren and Kristen Walsh.
At the request of the family, there will be no funeral services. Donations in Shawn’s memory may be sent to Lifebridge, PO Box 810 Salem, MA 01970.
