Shirley was born August 25, 1929 in Lynn, MA to the late William H. and Sadie G. (Crowley) Goodwin. She was employed with the Lynn Hospital for 44 years, retiring in 1990.
Shirley is survived by her niece, Barbara Galland and husband, John, nephews, James Grogan and Steven Grogan; great-nieces and nephews, John Galland, Bonnie Galland, James Galland and Tammie Lugo. Also surviving are 7 great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis Grogan and her husband, James and Dorothy Goodwin, and her niece, Sandra Galland.
Shirley’s Funeral will be held at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Monday at 10AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 5-7PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
