Born in Haiti, he was the son of the late Simon and Emilienne Payen. He was a resident of Lynn for the past 20 years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Evarice Payen of Belchertown, Emilie Laforest of Everett, Marline Chicoye of Clermont, FL, Odette Argant of Revere, Josette Balan of Medford and William Payen of Lynn. He was the brother of Elie Payen of Spring Valley, NY, Lunie Pierre-Louis of Kissimmee, FL and Marie Payen and Vilia Dure both of Spring Valley, NY. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8PM.
