She was born in Charleston, South Carolina September 22, 1929. She was the daughter of William (Poppy) and Julia (Whalley) Robinson. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur E. Green, Sr.
She received her formal education in the public schools of South Carolina. She attended and graduated from Bethel Bible Institute in Dorchester, Mass. Missionary Green was devoted to her mother and her daughter Claudette. She worked in Lynn for many years through the Visiting Nurse Association as a homemaker.
She was a member of the Faith Temple C.O.G. I.C. under the leadership of Pastor David Enmold. She was exposed to a christian experience at a young age and was a faithful participant of Sunday school.
Missionary Green accepted the Lord as her savior and was saved and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at Mt. Carmel church, Charleston, South Carolina under the leadership of Rev. Emily Rivers. She was a fithful servant for over 35 years at Mt. Olive church of God and Christ, Under the leadership of the late Bishop L.C. Young. Missionary Green became an active member of all church functions. Her last active role was the head of the Missionary department.
Missionary Green gave of herself in many ways doing good deeds for the church and community. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn, Mass. Missionary Green was loved by her family and others. She will be greatly missed by all. She will remain in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Claudette Harris. Grandson, Timothy Harris. Great grandchildren, Candido Jr, Devyne, Kashina, Cruz, Anthony, Tamica, Shawn, Kehaulani, Kalena, and Kaelyn. Great great Grandchildren Arianna, Alisa, Anna. Several nieces and nephews, Stephen Lamberis and wife Tina of Gloucester, Mark Lamberis, Spiro Lamberis and wife Cheryl O’ Bryant, all of Lynn, Mass. Channel Poff and husband John of Texas, Bonnie Lamberis of Lynn, Logan Lamberis. Arnet and wife Heather of California. Including several more great nieces and nephews Nathan, Devin, and Dorian.
Beside her husband and parents, Missionary Green has gone on to be united with her sister Myrtle Lamberis, Louise Jamison, Margaret Fong and her brother, the late James Robinson. Her nieces, Veda Jamison, Alisa Ayala, and Audrey Harris
