

Born in Lynn on February 28, 1946, he was the son of the late Clifford J. and Agnes M. (Soucy) Levasseur. He grew up in Lynn and graduated from St. Jean’s High School, Class of 1964. He then received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Merrimack College in 1968. Tom was a U. S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He lived in Peabody for the past 39 years.
For 15 years Tom worked as a supervisor at the G.E. River Works plant in Lynn. He then was a letter carrier for the Lynn Post Office for 22 years before retiring.
Tom loved sports, especially all of the Boston teams and tennis. He and Jean loved to travel.
He leaves a brother Paul W. Levasseur and his girlfriend Diane M. Myers of Lynn, a sister Carol Ann Marshall and her husband John of Saugus, three nephews Patrick Levasseur, John Marshall, Jr. and Tyler Marshall all of Saugus, a niece Alana Esterman of No. Easton, two great-nieces and a great-nephew.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at a later date. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
