Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Fraughten) Weslanski. She grew up in Swampscott and graduated from Swampscott High School, Class of 1950. She then graduated from a school of floral design in Boston.
She was a floral designer for all of her working life. For over 30 years she worked at Tony the Florist and still occasionally worked there part-time.
She leaves her children Paula J. Giguere and Peter Giguere both of Lynn, two sisters Lorraine Conroy of Yerington, Nevada, and Emily M. Morgan of Marblehead, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William Weslanski.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Memorial Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 12:05 PM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
