

Mrs. Virginia C. (Dennehy) Tarbuck, age 93, of Lynn, died Tuesday morning in the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Lucas and Richard B. Tarbuck.
Born in Hope Cottage, Swampscott, Virginia was the daughter of the late James H. and Lillian E. (Doughty). She attended Swampscott Schools and resided in Lynn for most of her life.
Above all, family was most important to Virginia.
She was the mother of Carolyn Walsh and her husband Stephen of Asbury Grove, Hamilton and Charles H. Lucas and his wife Marilyn of Newport Beach, CA. She was the Grandmother and Great-Grandmother of Nancy Wilson and her husband Brian of Tolland, CT and their children, David, Jennifer, and Stephanie; Richard Walsh and his wife Tiera of Asbury Grove, Hamilton, and their children Jeffrey of Ipswich, Matthew and Leah; Linda Walsh of Lynn, Charles H. Lucas of Indio, CA, Susan Lewis and her husband Glenn of Costa Mesa, CA and their children Kimberly, Charles, Brandon and Parker; and Kristin Holt and her husband Steven of Mather, CA and their children Kathryn, Benjamin and Karalyn. Virginia was the step-mother of R. Heywood Tarbuck and his wife Jan of Readville, ME and Leslie Burns of Stoneham. She was the Step-Grandmother and Great-Grandmother of Brian Tarbuck and his wife Kathy of Readville, ME and their children Cooper and Henry; Leigh Tarbuck and his wife Millie of Rochester, NH and their children Gabriel, Lauren and Alisha; Lori Handrahan and her husband Igor Malenko and their daughter Mila; Shauna Handrahan and her husband Colin Tong and their sons, Eden and Caleb; Candace Pappas and her husband Thomas of Peabody and their children Morgan and Nicholas and Garret Burns and his wife Lynn of Danvers and their children, Zachary and Hannah. She was the sister of Donald J. Dennehy and his wife Ruth of Lynn, the sister-in-law of Jacquelyn Van Gelder and Lena Dennehy, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Irene Monson, Janice Malo, Wallace Dennehy and Herbert Dennehy.
At the request of the Family, Private Graveside Services will be held with arrangements entrusted to the care of the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn.
