

Walter “Terry” James Rose Jr. of Saugus, 77, formally of Lynn, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Saturday, October 16, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with Dementia. He was the loving husband to Donna J. (Caliri) Rose, with whom he shares 50 wonderful years of marriage.
Walter was born on April 27, 1944, to the late Walter James Rose Sr. and Mary F. (O’Malley) Rose. Walter was a graduate of Lynn Trade High School, Class of 1963. Following his education, he joined I.B.E.W. Local 103 as a journeyman electrician, worked on various prominent Boston construction sites, and enjoyed working with his I.B.E.W. brothers and sisters until his retirement in 1998. He was most proud of his 55 years of service with his brotherhood.
Walter was happiest spending time with family, enjoying Caribbean vacations, nature, going for walks, and completing many projects at his Saugus home and Naples, FL condo. His family was his whole world!
He was the beloved father to daughters Sandra Trow and her late husband John of Manchester NH, Kathleen Rose-Johnsen, and her husband John of Wakefield. Walter will also be dearly missed by his
loving grandchildren Emma and Oliva Johnsen of Wakefield, Julian and Nathan Bonanno of Manchester, NH and his nieces Laura Jean and Mary Jean-Wright of Mount Dora, Florida, Diana McCartney of Glendale, Arizona and Pam Kolbert of Beverly.
Walter was predeceased by his daughter Christina Mary Rose and infants David J. and Linda H. Rose. He was the brother to the late June E. Grubbs of Palm Harbor, Florida.
A private funeral service will be held for Walter by his immediate family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter’s name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, www.caredimensions.org.
