When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up without hesitation Aidan’s answer was “a policeman, firefighter, and play football for the Seahawks.” He loved to play imagination with his brothers and sister. He was equally excited to join his older brothers when playing video games or to get his nails painted by his older sisters. He loved motorcycles and muscle cars. He was always happy and excited to help his dad work on them. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed going on nature walks and hiking trails whenever he could. Aidan also had a sweet and quiet side to him. He often could be found cuddled up in on his mom’s lap were he would often fall asleep for a nap.
Aidan’s time here was far too short for all who knew and love him. He was a bright and beautiful soul. He brimmed with love, compassion, consideration, kindness and joy. He had a light in his eyes and a charm in his smile no one will ever forget. Aidan loved to help anyone and everyone whenever he could whether it was opening a door for you or helping do a chore he was always there without being asked. Aidan was well loved by family and friends. His hugs and I love you will be missed more than words can say. He was truly a gift from God.
Aidan leaves behind His parents Carl and Kathleen McClanahan, His 4 older Brothers Andrew Cordell (21), Zachary (17), William (12) and Nicholas (8), His 2 older sisters Cassandra (15) and Katherine (14) and 1 younger sister Abigail (4). He also leaves behind his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
