She was born on September 20, 1924 in Silvana, Washington to parents Louie and Ella (Sleeper) Hovig.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Pumphrey and her husband, William Mangum.
She leaves behind her daughters Nancy Riel and Candace Mangum; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A private service will be held in the upcoming week. Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills is in charge of the arrangements.
