Berit married Robert Gray in Stanwood, WA on March 22, 1962 and together they raised four children.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Gray; and brother, Ragnar Elde.
Berit is survived by her children, Arne Laabakk, Greta White, Irene Bellecy and Ann Marie Barton; eight grandchildren, Hans Ole, Kurt Asbjorn, Heidi, Tony, Danny, Robert, Michael and Andrew; seven great-grandchildren, Johanes, Oline, Amanda, Andreas, Johann, Kara and Casey; and brother, Bjorn Elde; sister, Tove Gabrielsen.
Services for Berit will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills.
