Beryl was born to John and Lucy Aspinall in the countryside, near Shotesham Village, Norfolk England on December 1, 1936. After completing school, she went to work at age 14. She rode the bus to Norwich to work at a photographer’s studio then at a department store.
On December 31, 1956, she met her husband, George Stanosek, at a new year’s dance. They were married the following December. As George was in the Air Force, raising two girls in all the places they were stationed in England and USA was quite an adventure for her.
When George retired in 1994, they went on lots of day trips all over western Washington. When Theresa needed childcare, they volunteered. They took Clarissa & Cooper with them on their escapades. Beryl, now Granny June Bug, frequently spoke about this time, she loved it.
Beryl was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and husband George. She is survived by her daughters Theresa Nelson and Lisa Wester, four grandchildren, Clarissa, Alden, Cooper, and Quinna and two great granddaughters Elowen and Alleria.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd. in Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Wednesday, March 18th at 12:00pm.
