Catherine Huggins

Catherine is survived by her Son, Cornell Huggins (Lolly), of Everett, WA; her Daughter, Kirsten Huggins, of Killeen TX; and her Son, Kenneth Huggins, of Everett, WA.

Catherine was born on May 31, 1943 in Lafayette, Louisiana, to parents Isaac and Emerite Broussard. She graduated from Jonas Henderson in 1961 in New Iberia Louisiana.

Catherine was a loving mother. She married Cornell Huggins Sr in September 1963 and the couple had 3 children. Her dog Frizz Be was the center of her world, and she lovingly doted on her every day. She would say “people don’t always remember my name, but they always know Frizz Be!”

Catherine was a social, active woman who enjoyed going to church, listening to music, singing, karaoke, bingo, and the occasional casino night with friends or family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a funny person, she always had a good joke and could always make you laugh.

A funeral is scheduled for Catherine on Tuesday, July 21, at 12:00PM with a small family reception to follow at Cornell Huggins home in Everett. Pastor Larry Otto will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Catherine’s life via Facebook live. The family has set up an event so you may attend the memorial service. The event will be recorded and shared. The family would like to thank everyone for their sympathy and support.
