She is survived by her loving sister Linda Cole and two of her three Sons. Jim Werner, John Werner and their respective families. Her son Scott Werner preceded her in death but left a legacy of children and grand children.
Connie’s greatest joy was time spent with her family. Her extended family includes six grand children and nine great grand children, whom she loved dearly.
Connie was a graduate of Lake Stevens High school, class of 1959. She cherished her classmates. Connie was den mother and involved with her sons in scouting.
She was a member of the Mountaineers, hiking many of our local trails.
Connie was a world traveler, visiting Spain, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii.
She hiked the Annapurna circuit in the Himalayan Mountains, Nepal.
She worked at Olsen’s grocery and Physicians eye clinic.
She was a member of St. Lukes and Holy Rosary Catholic churches. She cherished her friends there. She sang in the church choir and with the Sno-King Community Chorale.
Connie will be missed by her family and all those who had the opportunity to know her. Our family has a saying when death touches our lives. “It’s not good bye, it’s we will see you later.”
In this time of “Covid” our family has chosen to hold a small graveside service for immediate family. We ask that those groups who wish to honor her, do so privately.
