

Our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather was called home by our Savior on February 14th, 2023. Curtis was born August 6, 1936, in Claremore, Oklahoma to his parents Charles and Lucy Roberts. Curtis was 1 of 11 children. Curtis was proceeded in death by his mother, father, 5 sisters (Billie, Patsy, Mary, Jessie, Dorothy), 3 brothers (John, Roy, Dale) and his oldest daughter Darlene. Curtis is survived by his loving wife Alice (of 65 years), daughters Sherrie Lynn, Susan and son Brian (wife Donna). Brothers; Paul and Warren “Sparky”. Grandchildren; Amanda, Marshal, Sean and Ian. Great Grandchildren; Haley, Courtney Fay, Kasen, Kylah, Ava Lynn, Daniel, Jason James, Darlene Marie and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Curtis is a 1954 graduate of Oologah High School in Oklahoma and moved to Washington State in 1954 and started working at the Boeing Company in 1957 as a painter and retired after 38 years of service in 1995. Married to Alice on June 29th, 1957, and raised his family in Marysville moving there in 1970.
In 1999 Curtis and Alice moved to Missouri with Ted and Fay Chapman (Alice’s parents) to assist in their twilight years and residing in Springfield, Missouri for 23 years. Curtis enjoyed the outdoors with fishing and hunting. Hobbies of gardening, playing cribbage, horseshoes, listening to music and telling jokes. He always stayed true and loyal for his home teams, the Mariners and Seahawks and watched whenever he could. Curtis was also very proud of his Native American/Cherokee heritage. Our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend will be missed by all.
Graveside service for the family and friends will be held at 12:00 Noon March 1st, 2023, at Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood, Washington.
