

Curtis Dale Vaughn, affectionately known as “Curt”, was born to Willie and Minnie Vaughn on October 23, 1959, in Kennewick, WA. He was proudly welcomed into the family as the fourth son and the ninth child.
Curt was raised in Pasco, WA, where he attended public schools until moving to Seattle WA with his family. He is a graduate of Garfield High School and attended Bremerton City College.
Curt pursued a career as a Cement Mason, following the trade of his Dad and an older brother; Don. He was a member of Local 528 and had opportunities to work on major buildings of the Seattle area in addition to freeways and city streets. He loved working with his hands whether it was fixing automobiles or remodeling his home.
Curt met and married the love of his life, Sherrie Mack, on May 21, 1988. They were blessed to raise four beautiful children; Rita, Charles, Shanaka and Curdale. Their home was often open to friends and family members needing a place to stay.
Curt was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord at an early age, under the pastorage of his dad, Reverend Willie Vaughn, Pastor of East Pasco Church of God. He loved singing in the choir, participating in plays and playing the drums. He was an avid lover of sports, playing cards and fishing.
Curt’s life journey came to an unexpected end on October 15, 2011 after suffering heart failure. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving Wife, Sherrie, Sons, Charles and Curdale both of Lynnwood; Daughters; Rita and Shanaka both of Lynnwood; Neph-Son, Carlos; A host of Adopted Children; Grand-Children; Ki’andrea, Kiani, Jazmine, Vanessa, Coby, Taizonique, D’aizonique, Trevauntai Dale, Anaya, Taveon, Mikey, Emerald, Sequoia, Taneal, Devon and Jesimon; Great-Grandson, Kyeir; God-Children; Marquis, Annastachia & Shalice; Parents, Bishop Willie and Minnie Vaughn of Seattle, Washington; Brothers, Windell (Brenda) Vaughn of Atlanta, Georgia, Jonathan (Donna) Vaughn of Spokane, Washington, Donald (Trina) Vaughn of Enumclaw, Washington, and Bishop Alvin (Thomazine) Vaughn of Kent, Washington; Sisters, Evangelist Dorothy Wilkins and Unittia Vaughn both of Los Angeles, California, Erma Vaughn of Pasco, Washington, Willetta Cody of Seattle, Washington, and Debra (Curtis) Watson of Kent, Washington; Brothers-In-Law, Lydell and Everett Coleman both of Seattle, Washington; Sister-In-Law; Kimmie (Lardell) Barton of Renton, Washington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the Beacon Ave Church Of God Family. He was preceded in death by his Mother-In-Law, Oranesa Coleman.
