

Dan "Daniel" Robert Burns, 79, of Everett, WA, passed away on June 14, 2023. He was born on October 8, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Daniel and Marie Burns. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Judith Burns, his children, Cynthia Hendrickson and Stephen Burns, his daughter-in-law, Sarah Burns, his granddaughter, Danielle, his grandson, Alex Burns, his granddaughters, Constance Burns, and his step-grandsons, Christopher and Jeremy. He is also survived by his sister, Judith Burns, his brother, Randy, and his sister-in-law, Michele.
Dan was a kind and gentle man, who loved fishing, his family, dogs, and America. He was a proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. After his military service, Dan pursued a career as an ironworker at United Iron Works, where he dedicated over 30 years of his life.
In his free time, Dan enjoyed indulging in his favorite hobby, fishing. It brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with nature.
A ceremony to honor and remember Dan's life will take place on July 6, 2023, at 11:15 AM at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to attend and pay their respects.
Dan will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His kindness, love for his family, and dedication to his country and career will always be remembered. May he rest in peace.
