Darlene passed away February 23, 2013 in her home in Seattle at the age of 91. She was born on November 7, 1921 in Spokane, WA. The daughter of Lloyd (Hap) & Nancy Owens. Darlene graduated with honors from Kittitas Union High School in 1938. She went on to be a photographer and became the first woman photographer for Pacific NW Bell in 1957. Darlene had one sister, Phyllis Olney and one brother Owen (Hap) Owens and four children, Ronnie, Gary, and Craig Crawford and one daughter Darla Taylor. Darlene’s family was large with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom she kept in touch with up to the very end. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. Graveside Services will be Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 2:00pm at Floral Hills Cemetery, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood.
