passed away on 6/30/2021 peacefully, in his sleep.
David was born on 12/26/1943 in Sioux City, Iowa.
In 1963 he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Alida Carley, and they were married on July 15, 1964, going on to have 4 children, adopt 1 child and foster many others, several becoming permanent members of the family.
David went to Ballard High school and finished in 1964, he received college credits from North Seattle CC from extended learning classes at his work.
He started working at Seattle Metro Water Quality Division in 1967 where he stayed until he retired in 1997. David then worked at Albertsons for 10 years before retiring again in 2007.
David enjoyed spending time with his family and pets, traveling, and playing Texas hold’em poker. He was a lifelong fan of the Seattle local sports teams; Mariners baseball and Seahawks football.
David was predeceased by His father Harry Leroy Redden, mother Mary Elizabeth (James) Redden, wife Elizabeth Alida (Carley) Redden, and sons Richard David Redden and Robert Brian Redden. He is survived by son Myron Allen Redden, daughter Rebecca Leanne Redden, chosen sons Felix Gonzales and Dong Truong, 8 Grand Children and 7 Great-Grand Children
