

Dawn Irene (Herholdt) Hinrichs went home to be with her Lord on May 29, 2012. She was a loving, vibrant, outgoing friend to many, and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan, 13, and Steven James (Jimmy), 11, her mother, Sally Herholdt, father, Edward Herholdt, step-mother Tranell Herholdt, brother Bret Herholdt, step-sisters Corinne Paiva and Gabrielle Ferguson, brothers-in-law Buck Paiva and Nate Ferguson sister in-law Cathy Herholdt, nieces Chelsea and Reilly Herholdt and Isadora Ferguson, nephews Nicolas Herholdt and Austin and Ayden Paiva, aunts Claudia Standish, Lorrie Norry and Kathy Stocker, uncles Dale Standish and Mark Avery, and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Steven Hinrichs, who passed away in 2005.
Born April 6, 1970, in San Leandro, Calif., Dawn grew up in San Leandro and attended San Lorenzo High School. She married Steven Hinrichs in 1998 and lived in Marana, Ariz., until moving to Bothell, Wash., in 2007. Dawn worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Eastside Gastroenterology in Kirkland where she was loved by patients and coworkers.
Dawn enjoyed working out, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her boys, friends and family. She had a large, loving church family at Park Ridge Community Church, where she was very involved as a member of the worship team.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Park Ridge Community Church, 3805 Maltby Road, Bothell, Wash. A viewing will take place prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, Wash. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hinrichs family account at Key Bank to help with the care of her boys.
