Delores "Cookie" Hunter laid her head down on June 26, 2013 and peacefully passed away to join friends and family that have gone before her in Heaven. She was born January, 4, 1929 and leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Gilbert Hunter. She also leaves behind, her daughter, Linda Anderson, her husband, Don, and their daughters, Chantal and Raven; along with her daughter, Nancy Young, her husband, Rick, and their children, Rebecca, Eric and Katie; and two great grand-children. She also leaves behind numerous children she cared for, and many friends and lives that she has touched with her wonderful cooking, great wisdom, kindness, laughter and of course her smile. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a longtime resident of Edmonds, WA where she raised her family and she loved the rain. We will carry her memory in our hearts and feel her touch with every rain drop. A special thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Serenity Park Adult Family Home and Evergreen Hospice.
