Do Yong Pak died peacefully on June 21, 2026 at the age of 92. He was born in South Korea and moved to Colorado Springs, CO, with his wife and three children in 1976 where they ran successful Mister Donuts franchises and learned English through watching the Denver Broncos and The Price is Right. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was happiest when he was surrounded by family, eating sashimi, and watching the Broncos win.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jung Kang Pak; his children Jung Kwon Pak (Amy), Jung Hui (Jenny) Pak, and Jung Hae (Susan) Pak; his grandchildren Joseph Rivera, Briana Dearing (Luke Evans), Katherine Pak, Kristina Rivera (Colin Neff), Olivia Pak (Ben Rappoport), Allison Dearing, and Eleanor Pak; and his great-granddaughter Danielle Jung Evans.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Chapel, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
