Donald Ray Morgan Jr., age 61 of Snohomish, Washington passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on June 14th, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Don was born to Donald Ray and Jodelle Gay of Seattle, Washington on August 18th, 1956. Don attended and graduated from Mariner High School in May of 1974. Don worked at his grandfather’s, Joseph Beeson’s, gas station during high school. Don at the age of 23 embraced with love and open arms, Christine Butcher and her three daughters, Amy, Charity, and Jessica. In 1986 they were blessed with a fourth daughter, Alyssa. Don enjoyed a wonderful career at Boeing as a Program Manager and after 33 years, he retired. When Don was not working, he spent time working on house projects and enjoying life with his wife and family. Don loved to go fishing, tend to his vegetable garden, golf, snow birding to Yuma AZ, and smoke ribs. Don was also an avid Seahawk’s fan, who enjoyed gathering around with family on Sunday to root the team on. Don was a great son, sibling, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed by all. Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald Morgan. He is survived by his mother, Jodelle Morgan, mother and father in laws Patricia and Robert Butcher, siblings, Denise (Brian) Alme, Michelle (Michael) Pagano, and Joseph (Lynn) Morgan, by his beloved wife, Christine Morgan, his four daughters, Amy Ruef, Charity Stavros, Jessica (Patrick) Coy, Alyssa (Kyle) Talley, and by his nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd. in Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Sunday June 24th, 2018 beginning at 1:00pm.
