Donald Eric Schauman

Donald is survived by his wife of 13 years Irene Rhoads Schauman; his children Faith (and Mike) Hegberg, Carla Sampson, Diana McCollum, Larry (and Diane) Schauman; his stepchildren Michael (and Priscilla) Rhoads, Beatrice (and Dan) Jensen, Patricia Blackwell; and his sister Nadine Harkness. Don was also the proud Grandfather of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eric and Twila Schauman; his first wife Edith; his sisters Angeline and Jane; and his brother Robert.

After graduating high school in 1949, Don went to work in the wood logging industry at Mount Baker with his brother in law. The Lord led Don to move to Everett with a calling to start a church. He and Edith moved to Everett, started their family and Don began his career with the Weyerhaeuser company. He was faithful in following the Lord’s call in helping to start the New Hope Assembly where he served in many positions there up until his passing.

A memorial service for Donald Eric Schauman will be held August 3, 2023 at 3:30 PM at New Hope Assembly, 9304 7th Ave SE, Everett, WA 98208.
