Donna Vee Vette

Dona grew up in Elmwood, Nebraska, the first of five children. After graduating from high school, she moved to Seattle to work on the Boeing assembly line building B-17 bombers during WWII. She returned to Nebraska to marry Vaiden Vette in 1945. They came to Seattle together shortly afterward, raising their two sons in Edmonds. Dona worked various jobs throughout her life, but her main joy was her family and friends. She had a kind word and a ready smile for all.

Dona was preceded in death by her younger son, Greg, and by her husband, Vaiden. She is survived by her siblings – Marianna (Wally - deceased), John (Sarah), Ralph (Lyn), and Virginia (Jon); her cousin Ruth Ann; her son, Brad (Vicki), daughter-in-law Laurie (Scott); grandchildren Quin, Cole, and Rachel (Nathanael); as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved completely.

A graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Cemetery (409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036) at 11:30 am on January 5th, followed by a reception at Edmonds United Methodist Church (828 Caspers St, Edmonds, WA 98020), beginning at 1:30 pm. All who knew Dona are welcome to attend.
