Eleanor Darlene Schweitzer

Eleanor Darlene Eldevik Schweitzer was born in Shevlin MN on Novemeber 23, 1942 to parents Alf & Leona. She was the seventh of nine children growing up and helping out on the family farm. After graduating high school in 1960, she moved to Fargo ND where she worked at St. Luke's Hospital. While in Fargo she met who would become her lifelong partner, George Schweitzer and they married on May 15th 1965. George had two little boys, Mike & Greg, who she raised as her own. In 1973, she gave birth to her daughter, Kimberly Marie & in 1975 to her son Scott Dale.

She enjoyed her church, taking care of her family, reading, music, cooking, baking, crafts, her doggies & spending time with her brothers & sisters making lefse & polse.

Survived by her children Kimberly (Gary Bedker)-Gold Bar WA, Scott-Shoreline WA, Mike (Nancy)-Ontario CA, Greg (Jeanette)-Sacramento CA, 5 grandchildren & 1 Great grand-daughter.

Her siblings include Gloria Walth-Tacoma WA, Verna Nichols-Lynwood WA, Lorna Turcott (Bob)-Edmonds WA, Kay Nyhus (Orville)-Glendale AZ, Bobby (Marianne)-Post Falls ID, Dotty (Lee)-Kent WA, & many neices & newphews.

She also leaves behind her little dog Rocky.

She is pre-deceased by her husband George, parents Alf & Leona, and brothers Alton & Curtis.
