Eric Henry Langevin

Eric Henry Langevin passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 57. Eric was born in Seattle, Washington on August 25, 1966 to MaryEllen and David Allan. In 1985, Eric graduated from Sunnyside High School. In 1987, Eric enlisted in the United States Navy and served until 1995. During his time in the U.S. Navy, Eric served on the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN - 71. Eric later went to work for Amtrak as a machinist where he worked until his passing. Working for Amtrak, he followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and uncles who were also part of the railroad family. Eric was a dedicated worker and would often work the holidays so his fellow workers and friends could spend the time with their families. In 2021, he celebrated his 25th year of service with Amtrak.

Eric had a love of sports but mostly his love was for Nascar. He enjoyed watching Nascar as well as collecting Nascar memorabilia items such as die cast model cars and books. He also enjoyed spending time with his brother Aaron at different sporting events they attended.

Eric is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Henry (Hank) and Lois Henderson. He is survived by his younger brother Aaron Langevin. He is also survived by his nieces, numerous cousins, and family members.
