Frederick William Zimmerman, 50, went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2013. He was born October 4, 1962 in Palmer, Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Esther Zimmerman, 5 sons, Jeremy Zimmerman, Christopher(Tenisia) Zimmerman, Charles Zimmerman, Joshua Zimmerman and Antony Zimmerman. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, his cousin W. Matthew Estochin, his father, Charles(Clarice) Zimmerman, his sister, Gail Dobrasz and his brother, Charles Zimmerman.
Fred is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Zimmerman and his sister, Barbara Zimmerman.
Fred played hockey as a teenager and never lost his love for the game. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, hockey and car racing. Fred was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his boys playing sports, go cart racing and playing video games.
Fred loved cars and attended as many local car shows as he could. He enjoyed drawing and working in the garden.
