

Harry Morgan passed away peacefully in his sleep on 1/31/22, at the age of 91, surrounded by his loving family in Lynnwood, WA in the same home he lived in for 61 years. Harry was born 6/18/30, in Savannah, GA to Brantley and Audrey. He was a graduate of Savannah HS and the University of Denver. Harry was a Navy Air Force veteran of the Korean War where he was honored with the National Defense Service Medal. After the Navy, Harry worked as an oil scout and landman for Gulf Oil in Indiana and later in the Abstract Business Solutions industry in Oregon, Everett and Lynnwood, WA. He eventually landed in the mortgage business working for Ballard Mortgage and ultimately retiring from Shoreline Savings Bank in Lake City, WA.
Harry met his beloved wife of 69 years, Virginia King, in 1950 and was married in 1952 in Everett, WA. The couple belonged to Maplewood Presbyterian in Edmonds, WA for 56 years where Harry served as head usher for over 20 years. Harry was known for his extreme kindness toward everyone. He loved to attend youth sports activities of family and friends’ children and grandchildren, traveling around the country to include Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and Florida.
Harry is survived by his wife, Virginia, sons, Gary (Kelly), Randy (Tricia) and Jon Gregory (Rhonda). His extended family includes grandsons Jonathen (Lizzy), Garhett, Stone, TC and Nicholas; granddaughters Leah (Talon), Riley, Caitlin, and Sydney; great grandchildren Rafi, Lucas, Sammy, Clara, and Wesley; and sisters Louise Smith and Norma Jean (Todd) Baglien.
A memorial service will be held for Harry at 1 p.m. February 19th at Maplewood Presbyterian Church, 19523 — 84th Avenue West, Edmonds, Washington. Memorials may be made to Maplewood Presbyterian Church.
