He was born on June 13th, 1957 in Cambodia where he grew up with a loving family of two brothers and five sisters. In 1980 he escaped the dangers of the Khmer Rouge and made it to the United States in hopes of a better life.
Everyone referred to him as Lam, and he was known for being an incredibly hard worker. For most of his life he worked two jobs to provide the best for his family. He worked as a Chef at Black Angus for 15 years, and as an Environmental Services Technician Lead at Overlake Hospital for close to 20 years.
In 2005 he suffered an aortic dissection and stroke that almost took his life. Through adversity and determination he overcame those challenges and was able to live a strong and independent life.
He always wanted to put others before himself and constantly wanted to give to others, especially his friends and family. He loved more than anything to spend time with his children, and discovered his biggest love of all, his grandkids.
He is survived by his Son Brian, his Daughter Amanda, Daughter-In-Law Sandy, Son-In-Law James, and his four Grandchildren, Landon, Lennix, Leah, and Avery.
