88 years old, Jean was born on October 8, 1929 in Selleck, Washington to Vern and Lillie Berg. She passed away on October 21, 2017 in Lynnwood, Washington. When she was a young girl she had bright red hair and freckles. After graduating from Everett High School in1947 she received a Diploma in Nursing at Everett General Hospital in 1950. She then went to work as a Registered Nurse and after her children were born she chose to stay home and raise them. Jean enjoyed gardening, bowling, crossword puzzles, and baking. Her favorite teams were the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners. She loved traveling and had been all over the world (several times to Sweden) and loved music from the 1940's. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years; Bruce V. Olson, her children; Ron Olson, Linda Aiken, Bob Olson and Sue Pennock, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be Sunday, October 29th at at Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St, Edmonds, WA 98028 Arrangements under the direction of Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, Lynnwood, WA.
