Jim passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the age of 81 in the presence of his loving and devoted wife, Joyce of 57 years. He is survived by his family; daughters Tami and Tricia and grandchildren; Rachael, Billy, Courtney and Tre.
Jim was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved with his family to Washington when he was young. He graduated from Roosevelt High School where he was very active in the football and baseball programs and also loved playing the drums in his free time. After High School he joined the Army for one year and got tired of marching, so he transferred into the Navy. While on the ship The USS Windham Bay (CCVE-92) they experienced a Typhoon that mangled their Aircraft Carrier Ship.
Jim had an amazing sense of humor and always made everyone around him laugh with his jokes and fun personality.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Tim, brother; Ken and Ken's wife Lorraine, Brother Tom and sister Margie.
