Jack Meyer was born August 16, 1929 in Seattle WA to Fred and Violet Meyer. He passed away March 31, 2020.
After graduating from Garfield High School, Jack joined the Military. He was in the Army Reserves and then enlisted as a Marine, serving during the Korean War. After leaving the Military, he worked as a Lineman for Seattle City Light for 32 years, retired, then went to work for the Snohomish County PUD for another 16 years. Jack enjoyed using the React Radio System, and that is where he received the nickname Tree Frog, or The Frog. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time on the property in Verlot with his family.
In 1962, Jack married the love of his life, Mary Jane Fitzpatrick. They were married for 37 years, when Mary preceded him in death. He is survived by his Son Bill Meyer (Fawn Lowery), grandkids John Meyer and Ashley Meyer, Daughter Karen Meyer (Scott Brooks), grandkids Katelynn Haworth, Jordan Haworth and Nicolas Haworth (Emily Haworth) & 4 great grandkids, Cousin Ann Helms and Terri and Tim McDonald, and many dear friends and neighbors. He leaves us with many great memories. Until we see each other again!
