Jon Erik Alben

Jon Erik Alben was born in Seattle, Washington on November 26, 1966. He attended Meadowdale High School. He worked in the upholstery business for many years which ultimately led him to Boeing, where he finished out his career. Jon had a passion for snowmobiles, atvs, classic cars, and ripping around in his El Camino. He enjoyed camping, water skiing, golfing and fishing with those he was closest to. He had a love for sunny summer days, bacon in the morning, working in his yard, barbecuing with family and friends, and cheersing to his amazing life. Jon had the most infectious smile, larger than life sense of humor, and for most he would bless you with one or many clever nicknames. He fiercely loved his friends and family. After a valiant three years battle with cancer, Jon peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Kirkland, Washington. Preceding the death of his father Stanley Alben, he is survived by his beloved wife Tammra Atwood-Alben, his children Jenny Nelson and Hunter Alben, grandchildren Jaxson and Shire Nelson, Mother Laurale Lange, mother-in-law Judy Atwood, siblings Janni, James and Jay Alben. And leaves behind many other beloved family members, to include his faithful canine Cali a.k.a. Ronald. He will be forever loved and missed!
