

Joshua Heard, born on March 3, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 35. He was a devoted father, a passionate football player, and a man of strong faith who cherished his family above all else.
Joshua spent his early childhood in Carson, California, before his family moved to Edmonds, Washington. He attended Woodway Elementary School, College Place Middle School, and graduated from Edmonds-Woodway High School. Joshua went on to study at Western Oregon University. It was in the 7th grade when he discovered his love for football, a passion he shared with his younger brother, Tony. Together, they became known as the “Heard brothers,” making a name for themselves in their community and creating lasting memories on the field.
A man of deep faith, Joshua loved God and believed in the power of family and community. His greatest pride came from being a father, and he treasured the moments spent with his son Julius always ensuring he knew he was loved.
Joshua has now gone to heaven, where he is reunited with his father, Anthony Heard. His family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace, watching over them with the same love he shared during his time on earth.
He is survived by his beloved son, Julius, his mother Adi Mereoni, his older sisters Christina and Monique and his brothers Tony, Caleb, Mikey as well as his sister in laws Lauren and Jovanna and nieces and Nephews Elliana, Carson and Emmett as well as many extended family members and friends. Joshua’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
