Daily bread shared from the sacred page,
A mighty prayer warrior, steadfast and true,
Whose faithful voice would heaven's ear engage,
In quite grace she walked the journey through.
A lifetime woven with the softest grace,
Born of the bright and starry Fourth of July,
A radiant smile upon a gentle face,
And sparkling blue beneath a summer sky.
She wore her colors matched, so neat and bright,
With cozy socks and coats for autumn chill,
A peaches-and-cream blow of warmth and light,
Whose melody in church is lingering still.
An only child who built a world of love,
She watched the birds take wing beside her hand,
And Mr. Tilney resting close, worn smooth
By gentle loyalty as days were planned.
Beside her loving Bob through passing years,
With scriptures read and fervent prayers combined,
Her spirit shines though shadows blur the mind,
Surrounded by the family she holds dear—
A legacy of grace she leaves behind.
Her eldest, Brandon, with his lively three—
Jack, Micah, Finn—who brought her so much joy,
And younger Ryan, married to his Jenny,
With little Keva, shining without alloy.
They hold her close with tenderness and pride,
With every memory kept forever true,
Walking in faith with Jesus by her side,
Forever wrapped in shades of heaven's blue.
