Kevin Joseph DeAngelis

Kevin Joseph DeAngelis was born on May 18, 1978 in Santa Monica, California. He spent the first 18 years of his life in Malibu, California. He attended Juan Cabrillo Elementary, Malibu Park Junior High, Loyola High School (Los Angeles) and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott, Arizona). After college, he worked for Persyst, VeriSign, Symantec, Ooma, Smalla, Kodak, Regence, Bolts and Zulily. For the past 14 years, he also ran his own computer business on the side. Many people constantly asked him for computer advice. Most recently, he was an employee of Inrix, a global traffic routing and road alert company as an Analytic UI Developer. Everywhere Kevin either went to school or worked, he gathered friends along the way, some going back to Junior High days. His passion in life was diversified computers, cars, comedy, acting, wine and coffee.

Before his marriage, he enjoyed vacationing with his mom and dad in Hawaii, Alaska, Northeast Fall Foliage and Canada. He enjoyed vacations with his family to Vancouver-Victoria, Disneyland, and expeditions to the Dakotas. Some of his adventures were hiking the Grand Canyon in winter with his college pals.

His choice of soulmate in Lisa was a blessing. His two children were even bigger blessings. He is survived by his wife Lisa, two children Kyndall and Beckett, his parents Joseph and Phyllis DeAngelis, sisters Jennifer DeAngelis and Paula Edwards, nieces Rachel DeAngelis and Belle Edwards and nephews Johnny Edwards and Cristian Edwards.

He always spoke with a laugh in his voice. He never lost his love for old cars. Recently, he loved Washington wine. Kevin took every opportunity to enjoy the short life he had, Life seems not fair when it takes good people from us so suddenly. He was funny, kind, a great son, loving husband, good father, and a great friend to everyone who knew him.
